FLUKE 87 stuck to EEPr ERR message is that repairable ?
I received today this question due email, from a reader, from Skopje (Mr. Zaim).
EEPr ERR translates to EEPROM error and this is not, a user repairable situation.
This is a similar event with your Personal computer, when it BIOS chip this when bad.
(Now the PC this is unable to boot.)
FLUKE DMM EEPROM this is a chip programed by FLUKE within their factory.
And there is no substitute from another source.
There is a chance of FLUKE accepting to repair it, if you got the DMM due one of their authorized FLUKE distributors.
An copy of your buying receipt this will be required too.
