Today I do add PCB close-up photograph of U1177A.
Back in time, Agilent did well made product documentation about their modules, in order to receive FCC ID approval.
https://fccid.io/ZKMAGILENT-U1177A/Internal-Photos/Internal-photos-1491089 I did also contact
Keysight customer support since past week, and I must admit that they are willing to help, and they do still trying.
But they have run in to internal problems.
Keysight customer support employ, she is unable to find any documentation so far, because such products has be classified as
Not-user-repairable.
And there is no known list of any serviceable parts.
Last hope this is to be found any product design information's, that might include part-list of assembled parts.
Long story in sort, until end of May 2024, I will get a final answer due Keysight.
=====================================================
My plan B, this has be activated all ready.
I am now gathering information's, of how many sources word-wide they do produce this type of slide switch.
I have find two candidates all ready, but no one this is visually identical at 100% to the part that Agilent / Keysight has use on their PCB.
In conclusion, if Keysight it did find any specific part tracing information, then I will have three choices to choose from.
Why I am insisting that much to find of what Keysight might have use? Electric switch replacement, this is not just about moving contacts, a low cost replacement this might not offer dust or humidity protection, and this might fail sooner than expected.
I am primarily aim to perform quality level repair, than basic level repair.
Keysight retail products pricing at 2024 this is
double than what it was seven years ago.
And neither their IR to Bluetooth module (entire product range), they escaped from this unreasonable pricing policy.
