USB 2.0 stick 32GB VendorCo ProductID 5678 runs faster with exFAT

Recently I did receive as gift a new and genuine USB 2.0 stick 32GB

Description: VendorCo ProductCode USB Device
Device name: Disk 2.0
USB\VID_346D&PID_5678
Serial number= 19 digits long
Safe to unplug = YES
USB Class = 8
USB sub class = 06
USB protocol = 50
USB firmware = 2.0
Power : 100mA

This came formatted as FAT32.
I did a CORY/READ test with 560MB video file, and I did discover transfer performance at 19MB Read and 6.5MB copy.

I did web research about VendorCo branding and I did not find much.
Even so I did come across over a user message, he tested VendorCo 16GB and by formatting it with exFAT,  file transfer bandwidth it did increase.

I got motivated to do the same, and YES my USB 2.0 stick 32GB this gained also some extra speed.

This USB 2.0 stick 32GB, it did awaken the computer nerd in me.

At my web search about VendorCo USB storage, I did find several complains about USB stick sold for less them having fake capacity.
In my case I was simply motivated to test the capacity of my new gift.

There is out there a software utility of 2008, h2testw_1.4
By using it for a first time, test results seemed as worrying .

I did use windows tools, to format the drive at Fat32 and back to exFAT at normal mode ( not fast format).
I did also use also another software utility this is diskwipe, it deletes entire drive = blank disk state. 

All this data write and erase activity, it did let's say awaken the USB memory controller, and available number of clusters for data storage these are now reported correctly.

The next run of H2testw this ended with out errors.

Note from another website:
The actual storage loss on a USB device is roughly 7% of the overall memory size, so for a 32GB device you can expect a loss of around 2GB.

In summary:
My new USB stick, this wanted to be fully written and be erased a few times, so this to succeed at the test of capacity evaluation. 
Now the new real storage area for MB this is 29994, of a 32GB advertised USB drive.
And my new USB storage gift this is within specifications

Technology this is a nasty thing   

You cannot have both, high speed along widest compatibility, and so I was forced to format this USB stick as FAT32 (again).
