By shopping for shrouded banana plug I did fall over a picture made by fellow Chinese technician that was picturing the best method so to solder a test leads cable over the banana, by not destroying it.

The list of suggestions is :
1) No higher temperature than 360C.
2) The banana front end should be protected from overheating by using one form of heat sink to it.
3) The job it should be made accurately and fast, so overheating to be avoided as much as possible, even as protecting measure about the silicon cable, which it does tolerate 200C but is not immortal either.

By using my digital camera I think that I got a great set of pictures,  and the topic soon would be at the front page of ITTSB Blog.
It would help many people of not destroying those CAT II 1000V 32A Bananas.

Naturally my 17AWG  (1.15 mm) wire is much easy to handle than a 4mm wire that this banana it can accept.
Either way by using my suggested precautions, you will make it, by not destroying the red isolator in the begging of this banana plug.
