In May 2013 I did receive by Fluke road test program: QTY of three CNX i3000, one CNX V3000 and the CNX 3000 DMM.
14 months later and by having use the system for about 15 minutes, I discovered today all three CNX i3000 having totally discharged batteries.
CNX V3000 (AC volts) module retained 90-100% of it battery capacity, and also CNX 3000 DMM has still 100% of battery capacity.
Therefore there is a serious issue with CNX i3000 module regarding it stand-by battery consumption.
I think that FLUKE product engineers have to re-inspect and improve the CNX i3000 module (iFlex® AC current module).
What makes me mad is the fact that six high quality alkaline AA have to travel today to the dumpster (recycling), because of this design flaw.
If I was aware up-front about this behavior of CNX i3000 module I would had remove the batteries.
I did inform FLUKE about this issue at 12 July 2014, if they come back to me I will post their answer.
