Here is the best way to be scammed with these caliper, entire body this is made by poor machined brushed aluminum and only depth blade this is Stanley steel of worst quality.

1) Adjustment screw (aluminum) bend / dis-formed.   
2) Depth blade not wide enough so to add benefit of movement precision and stability.
3) Brushed aluminum body not having any perfect finish, not to mention that single fall at cement floor will deform and destroy measuring jaws.
4) Unseen to my pictures spring bar, this controls pressure by the help of Adjustment screw, this is bare iron painted with color of copper.  ( Another scam ) 
5) Side by side comparison with a real Stanley steel tool, makes obvious and point out all differences which expert eye balls will notice.
