Advantest Japanese brand, this is quite unknown worldwide, this company was not aiming regular consumers when it was at it Glory.

Advantest always trying to become B2B partner by developing technology which will adopted by other business them be engaged in electronics parts production and even R&D.
Digital Multimeter R6341A this is one of first Japanese handheld multimeter this released at 1992.

Japanese people still remember this tremendously overpriced product which become extremely fast EOL.
Product design it its extremely interesting , by having a quick look at it, you do think that this looks similar to FLUKE 87V face-plate.
First FLUKE 87 meter this released May 2004 Rev. 1 and therefore it is possible that FLUKE product design engineers to get some inspiration from this Advantest product. ;)

Digital Multimeter R6341A this has rubber strips at both sides, this improves stability when it is used as handheld.
This is another product design detail also shared over the years between other Japanese brand (dmm makers).

It looks like my old SOAR 3250, outdated regarding new safety standards, but still reliable and full functional.

It looks like my old SOAR 3250, outdated regarding new safety standards, but still reliable and full functional.

No I did not buy anything, I was investigating the History of Advantest and their old partner ADCMT (Japan) and suddenly I found one white handheld multimeter with out detailed description.
After of hours of research in to Japanese web-pages, I did discover these few pictures.
