In my case I was simply motivated to test the capacity of my new gift.

I did use windows tools, to format the drive at Fat32 and back to exFAT at normal mode ( not fast format).
I did also use also another software utility this is
diskwipe, it deletes entire drive = blank disk state.
All this data write and erase activity, it did let's say
awaken the USB memory controller, and available number of clusters for data storage these are now reported correctly.
The next run of H2testw this ended with out errors.
