Victorinox Recruit - Swiss Army Knife not perfect enough for electrical work

Most Victorinox Swiss Army Knife's, they come with a large list of included mini tools.

Victorinox Recruit this is my favorite model: Reasonably priced, light weight, has a tools set that by the numbers you will use more frequently.
Recruit 5002  this is old line this circulated in the USA (2000 ~ 2010).

- insulation removal tool
- key ring
- tweezers
- toothpick

Victorinox brand marketing, this mention as insulation removal tool and also as wire bending tool, a notch added at the bottles opener tool (lift caps from bottles).
Actual notch (slot) diameter this is 2.5mm Max.

Victorinox brand marketing, totally skipped to mention that this beautiful gadget does not offer a good grip at the larger hands of adults.

An true knife for electricians, this it should offer at least a non slippery handle.
 
Even so its a fact that in a true emergency, these Victorinox Swiss Army Knife's, they can assist if you agree to lower down the speed of your fingers.
And or work in a slow motion rate. 

Best advice's:
The large knife will do wire scoring work (over wire insulation).
By you fingers alone you can remove (pull) 10~20 mm of wire insulation
Victorinox notch tool, this can do single core wire bending in to a hook (shape for use with a screw terminal).


Actual electrical applications that Victorinox can handle, these are:
-Repair of door bell cable.
-Repair of light fixture (US English), light fitting (UK English), or luminaire is an electrical lighting device.
-Repair of Old style telephone wall mount plug.
-Repair of coaxial TV - SAT cable connector.

Nowadays that everything related to electrical terminals and wires connectivity, this has shrink, all large and generic tools these lost their value as a substitute of specialized tools.
But this is not a good reason, so to not carry with you a high quality pocket knife.
