Thermoplastic Rubber, TPR Insulated Hand tools.

Latest trend this is electrician hand tools in compliance to VDE 1000V regarding their molded handle.
One step below they are the hand tools with TPR molded handle (GRIP).

What is TPR?  Thermoplastic Rubber
Thermoplastic Rubber this is also used at the manufacturing of cables.
Cables insulated by TPR, these have operating range:
• Voltage: 120V – 600V
• Temperature: -40⁰C to +90⁰C

Hand tools as a pair of any sort of pliers, they can be found as:
• Bare metal
• Basic 60V (thin wall) insulation
• Basic 600V (thick wall) TPR insulation
• VDE 1000V (thick wall) insulation
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Within European union, several hand tools, official imports from China, they are circulate as rebranded at every member state.
TPR Insulated Hand tools, these are the high class.

The one million dollars question is, why the European union, this does not request or require, relative paper work, about actual electrical safety that these TPR insulation can handle per tool?

It appears that when there is a missing relative certification, there is only a note: Do not use this tool under energized circuit.

DVE this is a German certification, all tool makers they should pay the Germans so them to certify their tools.
And I do wonder of why, no one bother to certify tools coming with TPR insulation (GRIP) ?

According my personal quick research, I did not find any record, this proving that TPR insulation this is unsafe for 240V CAT-II.
