In our times in which our hands are full of all sorts of rechargeable devices with lithium batteries, as for example mobile phones, PDA miniature sized PC, Portable GPS, portable music players, or even digital photo cameras,
what comes in mind is the need for one charger for all.
This smart charger it did show up in the market, but the manufacturing quality is so poor, which makes you to wonder if it does makes you a smart person, the decision about to charge your Credit card and get it.
I did take the risk before a year, because I consider my self as one literature d person in electronics.
When I got it , it was not functional due inner not soldered parts.
I did the repair and it worked.
Nine months later it stopped charging (yesterday) , the only two inner cables which connect the PCB with the battery pins, they got partially damaged.
Its one wire is tiny in size with very few inner conductors in the total of 5-6 in a lesser diameter than a human hair.
Only one or two conductors from its side they was healthy, and because of that the electronic circuitry was not activating the charge mode, even if it was sensing the battery.
It took me some time to actually suspect this specific reason as the cause of the problem.
And so I did replace the tiny cheap cables with better ones, and the replacement has even the triple diameter of the original ones.
And Yes the charger started to operate again.
I did found the opportunity to use those specialized leads (3M Japan) and to monitor the voltage with the BM869 which offer lots of counts.
The extra resolution helps to actually monitor better the raising voltage (last counts) of a battery at a slow recharge rate.
