DE-5000 LCR Repair Tip
« on: December 25, 2013, 08:07:10 PM »
According the report of a friend of my,  in case that you have damaged the input of a DE-5000 LCR by measuring an charged capacitor.

The first symptom is that the LCR it would be unable to pass the test leads calibration ( zero Ohm) function.

In order to repair that you need to replace three SMD resistors.
Parts replaced: R32,R33 and R34 (100,100,1K)

I am just pass threw the information as unconfirmed by me, but I do that by the hope that possibly some one will be helped back by mentioning this detail.
